DEFENSIVE!
My writing coach has cut me off so many times that I'm grateful to God he wasn't using a knife; otherwise, I would've had a zillion scars to prove it. But why is that?
You see, the way God cannot stand sin, that's the same way Mr. Pojo cannot stand defensiveness. Sadly, I get am full body.
It was a struggle because one thing is being defensive and another is not accepting that you're defensive. Have you ever come across anyone who just wouldn't accept being wrong? Someone who always wants to be right?
How annoying is that? Well, in a subtle way, I mirrored that even without my awareness. So when my coach says I'm defensive, I just get pissed. Like, "Where's this defensiveness? I can't feel it, I can't touch it, I can't see it."
Well, long story short, it felt as though my eyes were opened recently, and I could see my defensiveness in clear sight. Just like that magical moment when scales fell off Paul's eyes, I finally understood why my coach always cuts me off.
Dearest reader, I had to embrace my flaw because, in the words of Mr. Pojo, "I can turn it into an effective tool that works for me." You too, evil isn't always evil; it's often fractured good. So if you can turn that your bad character upside down, it could probably become very useful and helpful.
