BLISSFUL COINCIDENCE.

Hello dear

How was day? I trust you had a nice day. Here's a funny story from mine.

Yesterday I boarded a keke(Tricycle) on my way back from work, the driver was truly annoying. We had beforehand discussed where I'd alight but oga kept complaining about how far it is, and how he wished he hadn't carried me.

Honestly, I felt bad, to the extent that I wanted him to stop me so I can take another keke(Tricycle), but he just continued on. Even when he got to my street junction he said he would make sure not to carry me next time and I retorted that I would rather trek than enter his vehicle.

Fast-forward this evening, you know it rained heavily today, so it was very difficult to get a keke going to my direction giving that it's far. Standing in the rain shivering from the cold wind and ever pouring rain drops, I waited and waited, and then finally a keke stopped, unfortunately it was the same guy from yesterday. Chai, I just weak.

The road was almost deserted, it was getting late and the rain had no intentions of stopping anytime soon. He immediately complained when he saw it was me and I told him to go on that I'd find another, and then instantly thought of how long i will have to wait for another vehicle, i had to swallow my pride and called him back.

It is better to enter an annoying keke ride rather than get drained in the rain, i thought to myself. Funny enough the ride wasn't half bad, myself and the driver talked and laughed about yesterday's encounter and how we had sworn to never ride together.

He also apologized for being that way yesterday and offered to carry me free though I objected. The driver was having a bad day yesterday and that resulted to his behavior, it was truly a blissful coincidence to enter same vehicle twice in a row, it has never happened before.

Dearest reader, what did you learn from my story? For me, I got that we should never say never, the probability of meeting same driver twice is less than one yet it did happen. And also try to swallow your mind when necessary, I did save me from getting soaked by the rain.
