YOU CAN'T FAIL GOD.

I watched a movie today, "A taste of sin". it was epic for me, though my sister said it was quite boring.

According to this movie, a man of God fell and at his lowest he felt as though he had failed God and God had left him. But at the end we saw that God came through for him.

What stood out for me is in how we can't fail God. For someone that sees the end from the beginning, what on earth can you possibly do to surprise him or catch him off guards? I strongly believe that no matter what we do, we can't fail God.

We often try pretty hard to impress certain persons, for example; our parents, mentors, teachers and even God, but all these is pointless, mostly trying to impress God. The negative impact of trying to impress the beings we hold in high esteem is in how depressed we feel when we match a line or perform poorly.

I still remember vividly the term I decided to impress my father who is a chemistry teacher by doing excellently at his subject. When my results were out that term I was excited to show him, I didn't just have an A' this time but I scored 97/100 in the subject. My father wasn't much impressed and I realized that I shouldn't try so hard because I wanted to impress since it resulted in making me depressed.

So the point is, no amount of prodigality can make us fail God, he knew that outcome was going to come even before you encountered it. Serve him and when you fall from grace, he's right there with an open arm awaiting your return(though certain consequences are applied) he's not disappointed or awestruck and he will not love you less.

Dearest reader, Don't try to impress God, just genuinely love him. He's there for you, always. You don't fail him when you fall, he doesn't demand perfection at once, he's ready to walk with you into perfection.
