WHAT IS...
Lately I've been attached to this medical movie(House MD) and I dedicate a lot of my time watching it. Well, on today's episode a doctor gave a wrong diagnosis that almost cost someone their life and the head doctor told him something that sat with me.
"You saw what you wanted to see, not what was there", Dr. House. Often times, we are blinded by our ideal thoughts on something and it just restricts how much we get to see.
Dr. House from the movie is an arrogant man, but one thing that's unique about him is his ability to keep an open mind. He's open to all possibilities and that sort of makes him a badass at what he does.
When dealing fairly, you must set out every presumptions so as to see clearly. Have you ever experienced trying to read out loud and then instead of saying what's written you incidentally say something else? What happens there is that we misread the sentence because that's what our brain wants to see rather than what's written.
Dearest reader, be ye open minded. Try to look beyond what you brain compels you to see, and actually see what is.
