THE THING WITH BEING BIAS...
When you're the one at the receiving end, favoritism isn't all bad.
This evening I went to get fuel, I was in a hurry but there were a lot of people there before me, as I stood thinking about how much time it'd take if I waited my turn, I just saw an opening to put my gallon at the front.
Well, luckily for me the fact that I was paying with a card coupled with me engaging the pumped attendant in a light conversation made me leave there as fast as I came. The other persons waiting in line were complaining but it didn't bother me much because I had what I came for.
On my way back, I reflected on this and it did occur to me that I would've been furious if I was among the people waiting in line and some random person just came and was attended to immediately.
Among the three things I hate the most, favoritism is at the top and today's experience just made me realize that maybe I really didn't hate partiality, just as long as I'm at the receiving end it isn't half bad.
Dearest reader, expect what you can give. I should have waited in line like every other person there. And note; when you say you dislike something, to what extent does that dislike go? Does it only stand when the thing favors you or not?
