RELATIVE HATE.

I was talking to someone today and somewhere along in the conversation, he said, "Everything in Nigeria is by connection even hatred, someone can hate you via connection", I just laughed at the realness of this statement.

A Sunday school teacher I loved, taught us never to inherit enemies. Don't hate someone before you get to know them, it's a crazy reality how we can conclude about a person even before meeting them.

Have you ever felt a strong dislike for something or someone just because someone else had a bad experience with it?

Love and hate is relative. I realized that half the people we don't like isn't a factor of our choice, we could've heard something somewhere about them and it just spiked hatred.

Just like in the kdrama I was watching the other day, a certain character hated another character because her best friend said horrible things about him. This character never spoke to the person but the rage she had towards him was enough to move a tower and why is that? Her connection/ relationship with her best friend made it so.

Dearest reader, evaluate all the things and people you dislike and ask yourself if there's a valid reason that relates to you which resulted to that hate. Give everyone the privilege of doubt, even if you heard the person is capable of terrible things, still give the person a chance and then decide on whether you like or dislike the person.
