IS THERE ANY HARM IN TRYING?

A coin is said to have three sides: the head, the tail, and the edge; the same goes for an argument.

This morning, I was aggressively woken up in a bid to be instructed on how a certain task should be done later in the day. Given that I had barely had enough sleep, I just nodded to everything said and didn't even remember most of it.

So, I went back to sleep after the whole thing. Fast forward to this evening, I got home from work and couldn't fully fathom what I was asked to do. I decided to attempt something; at least it was better than doing nothing. Moreover, as the saying goes, "There's no harm in trying."

When my parents were back from work, I realized I had done the opposite of what I was told to do. Oh, in my head, I was like, "God go punish the person who came up with that mumu quote." I did more irreversible harm by attempting blindly.

The point is, the quote isn't at fault. I was too sleepy when the message was passed (which is my fault). Because of the unclear message I received, my attempt became harm.

Dearest reader, don't just attempt, please gain a level of clarity. While the head of the coin is saying there's no harm in trying, the tail could be saying there's harm in trying. Whereas the edge (most accurate) via looking at both the head and the tail tells us that there could be harm in trying, and there could also be no harm, and it all depends on the situation and factors governing it.
