FROM TRAUMA TO TRIUMPH.

I read a story where two girls nearly drowned in a pool party when they were 4 years old. The parents of the children were so scared, that one signed up their child for swimming lessons, and years later she competed in the Olympics, while the other girl's parent banned her from going close to any large water body.

From the story, we can see that both girls had the same experience yet different approaches. While the first girl overcame her drowning trauma by becoming a star swimmer thanks to her parent, the other girl never overcame hers'.

Though actions and reactions are equal and opposite, not every reaction is the same, each reaction/outcome is different based on the individual's decisions.

Like the popular saying, "Turn your pain into gain", the first girl's parent made sure their child walk through her trauma and it became a source of influence and joy to the girl later on. Don't run away from something that hurt you or left you traumatized, walk through that pain and become better.

Dearest reader, note that two individuals may go through the same experience and come out differently, no two persons are the same, in relation to how they handle situations. Make the best of everything, be it a disadvantage.
