ALL SHADES OF YOU.

"Why try being perfect when perfection is you?", Huwa.

We at times worry too much about outcomes, dwelling and living in an ocean of, "What ifs", bothering so much about flawlessness.

Today I was the first time I performed on stage a poem, initially I had cold feets and I was deeply troubled. "What if I forget my lines of stage?", "What if i skip a line?", "What if i did the exact opposite of what was rehearsed"?

Questions like this flooded my mind. I wanted to even run away right before we were called upon, then I remembered the words of my coach, and thought, "Chai, I couldn't afford to fare badly here, he didn't train a quitter".

I braced up and yay, it was hardly bad. Infact, I felt it was epic. There was this satisfaction I felt leaving the stage, like>>>> "I DID IT".

Dearest reader, often times we hold on to worries of the ideal way we want things to be, forgetting to just be ourselves. Don't so hard to mirror perfection, it's in you, it's you.
