THE THING WITH INFLUENCE.


You don't truly know a person until money is involve. Wealth and influence has a way of shaping people, you know. 

Someone I love listening to once said, "When a rich man acts like a brat, exhibiting arrogance, don't be alarmed that's all there is to it, but you see that humble poor person, you will be surprised at how he'd become with a touch of wealth". 

Even in secondary school, people were proud and pompous over mere knowledge. When we are in search and need of something we tend to be humble and lowly, yet when attained there's this pride that comes up. 

When people finally get what they desire, they tend to show who they truly are. Because as humans we hide behind masks, only unraveling our true nature when we're no longer scared to need pretence. 

Dearest reader, the greatest test of one's character is wealth. You don't truly know a poor person, nah, you can't tell his true nature until he has money. Train yourself to not be changed negatively when the influence you always wanted eventually comes.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
