THE THING WITH CRITISM.




Oftentimes, when something doesn't resonate or sit well with us, we tend to criticize it unfairly. 

If something doesn't speak your truth or appeal to your ideology, it isn't a call to badmouth it, but rather understand its point of view. Logically, it's not everything that will agree with you, therefore don't tear down a concept that doesn't suit you. 

Who made you a judge? Why criticize something else as though you're perfect yourself? Learn to let things be, it won't cost you anything to keep your opinion on something that's ill-fitting to your standard to yourself. 

I know we are told to embrace criticism and improve, but some of these criticisms are simply unnecessary. You cannot make sense out of something that wasn't designed for you, it won't make sense to you, if it weren't created for your kind of person. I feel people should learn this. 

Imagine an adult calling children's cartoon trash, of course it would seem as trash to the adult because it wasn't created for him. 

Dearest reader, don't judge unfairly/too harshly, if something doesn't resonate with you, leave it, it wasn't meant for you. As humans we have diverse interests, that thing that seem lame to you could actually be magnificent to someone else.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
