"Hard work connects us to high places", X.

Hard work cannot be the only thing needed to attain success yet it plays a major, it takes you places/heights you wouldn't have attain. 

There's a theory which says an hardworker would always beat a lazy talent. While some people are very talented since birth, others had to work extra hard for every single thing attained. And often times, the hardworker does better, since the talented are usually lazy. 

For everything you want, there's a required amount of hard work needed of you, regardless of whatever abilities you're endowed with. Past your gifts and ability you've got to put in the effort to be exceptional. 

Imagine a case scenario; two individuals preparing for an exam, individual A has an eidetic(photographic) memory and individual B is a slow learner. Given his eidetic memory, A relaxes till a day to the exam, whereas B prepares months before the exam, who is expected to do better?

Dearest reader, yes we agree! You can do it! You've the ability and all it takes, yet you must put in the working hours to actually get it done. Hard work will always beat talent/ability as it sets you up for greater heights.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
