ON IMPULSE.
Have you ever gotten something on impulse before and then regretted getting it immediately, and before long thanked the universe for making you get it?
Today on my way from work, I felt my scandals were about to pull off so instead of it to later disgrace me, I stopped at a cobbler's stand to get the scandals fixed. While the guy was still fixing my scandals my eye caught a fine pam from a shop close by, this reminded me of the burial ceremony I'm to attend tomorrow.
Well, when the scandal was fixed, I decided to stop by the store and check the pam out. Long story short, if anyone had today me earlier that day that I would be going home with a low shoe, I would have laughed out loud. Because for someone who's very calculative and doesn't just get things on impulse that's almost impossible.
I sha did trek home because I spent all I had on another shoe I saw at the shop. As I walked home, I regretted stopping at that shop but then again, when I got home and looked at what I had purchased, I was satisfied and happy I did.
Dearest reader, what did you learn from my story? Have you had a similar case? From my end, I just marveled at how the whole twist went. Initially, given that it cost me a fortune I regretted getting it, but at the end of the day, I was glad I did.
Certain things may not sit well with you at first, but they could ultimately grant satisfaction in time. I would usually frown at impulse buying, yet on this account, it wasn't all a bad decision.
