EMBRACE THE PAST.

"When in doubt, go back to the beginning", O.

I spent most of my day, reading a novel, titled, "Nairobi Heat". I was so buried inside this novel that it felt as though I was truly in Nairobi.

One of the many lessons from this book that stood out for me is that, if you know someone's history( their truth, their past, or their roots), you will easily bring them down.

To an extent, the past defines you as it sets the pace of how your today plays out. In trying to uncover the secrets of a murder, a detective has to travel to the suspect's past( his beginning). Of course, it was bloody, yet it did unveil everything and connected the dots.

When you flop and get to a dead end, the ideal thing to do is to go to the beginning. Visit the origin, the roots, and the core of the matter.

There's this thing my coach does, that I never really understood up till now, whenever anyone defaults or goes prodigal, even when the person finds his/her way back, the person will start from the very beginning, regardless of how far the person has been before, he will become the least.

Dearest reader, are you stuck at some point in your life? Pay a visit to your past and reconcile with who you were. It will unlock so much for you, and help ease your doubt. At the end of the day, there will be loopholes(doubt) if you don't embrace the past( Your beginning/roots).
