BETTER THAN THE ISRAELITE?
Hey merry Sunday.
In the cold breeze of this evening, I was reading a novel as a means of relaxation. Reading is therapeutic you know, well, this well tailored piece of African American literature got me thinking.
This book was written based on the 19th century setting, certainly by an advanced author. It'd touch a part of the Nigerian history, how things were after the biraffrian war, and it just occurred to me that even in simpler times we would still complain.
At this rate, how are we better than the israelites? We cling to the piece of an half-baked illusion of what it was before(The past). The past isn't half as nice as we make it.
From reading the novel I just realized that hardship wasn't new, we have been through a tough economy before and complaining is just our nature. Doesn't it shock you at times how we manage to get by daily even with the high cost of goods? Na God.
Dearest reader, even though life be life-ing, God be God-ing. In times as such, we should double our faith and be grateful for the little we afford. Nothing is new under the sun, we aren't the only country going through such, we must fix the slavery attitude to scale up.
