TRY DEY GIVE UP.
Yes! You cannot do everything and there are factors making sure of that.
Just because Mr. A does it so effortlessly doesn't mean it would be easy. What is easy in relation to someone can be hard in relation to someone else, therefore, whenever you are told something is easy or hard, endeavor to ask in relation to who/what.
After a ton of motivation, I tried out another attempt at making my hair. From the previous two attempts, I used wool and attachment respectively and it was extremely painful given my really soft scalp. So I inferred that maybe it was because I didn't start with the base(making small hair like rubber thread) that's why it was that painful.
This time I used rubber thread instead, trust me it was twice the pain of the former two. At a point of was frustrated, I wanted to just cut off everything because what was the essence of such torture?
Any random person could sit through this hair without making a sound, but myself was barely able to hold up. Each time the hair was held, my innocent soft scalp followed and it was as though my brain was being pulled apart.
'Oga abeg this one nor be do or die affair', so I called my coach, we spoke for a bit about the pain and he let me decide whether to continue or back out. After the call, one of my best friend came with a dozen of bobo(viju milk) it was my favourite drink wallai. Immediately there was this euphoria to bear the pain, so I sat back and continued while silently sipping my bobo.
Just like that, the initial gragra disappeared. I had finished 4 bobos and the pain was still excruciating. Omor, there and then I knew I couldn't cannot. Considering various factors I just gave up.
'My reality isn't the next customers reality' I thought to myself. So I swallowed my pride and asked the hairdresser to loose the hair.
When she was done, I paid and left with absolutely no regrets. In this life, you gat give up on somethings.
Dearest reader, what did you learn from my story?
