THAT EGYPT...


"It didn't take God too much to get them(Children of Israel) out of Egypt but it took God everything to get Egypt out of them", Femi Lazarus. 

Every experience leaves the individual with an imprinted design, which is often difficult/impossible to take out. God in a bid to take out the Egypt out of the children of Israel, had them move in circle for 40 years. 

Getting out of a traumatic scenario isn't where the work is, the main work is in the aftermath, getting it out of you is where the work lies. 

Some of us has been able to come out of real messy situations yet never been the same, because even when we were able to leave it via God's grace, we haven't been able to get it out of us. 

People are going about with burdens of past traumas affecting them, and the funny thing is how you go nowhere until the trauma gets out of you. 

Dearest reader, look back, have you truly healed from that traumatic past? Or did you just ignore it and allow it repeatedly retard your growth? 

Let go of that Egypt, leave it behind to forge ahead.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
