SLAVE OR SON?
"It is in the nature of a sons to call for his father even when they fall, but it is in the nature of slaves that even if they don't understand the extend of their sin they run from their father", X.
I've been feeling really out of place for a while now and my relationship with God suffered as a result of this. So I came across a video clip today, it explained the difference between a son and a slave via their response to mistakes/sin.
After watching the video two times over, I just shaked my head, "Omo I've been a slave o". It's how we react without full understanding that's hilarious, we do something wrong and assume a conclusion that draws us far from God.
Regardless of the extent of the mess up, it should propel you to seek God more rather than to run away. Running away from God when you do wrong is deeply sponsored by a slavery mentality.
Dearest reader, are you a slave or a son? When you have done wrong in God's sight do you run to him or from him? The point is, you can't do life alone, without God's help you won't overcome that situation, hence, it is a must do to run towards God at the slightest sin.
