MAKE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.



A poet once said, "Whoever invented electricity must have been in darkness". 

As humans, we are too quick to conclude the worst of each situation. It's how we tag the slightest discomfort as suffering and make it seem as though the universe is coming apart. 

But really, difficult times are when the strongest of us is required, it is an avenue for inventions and innovation. 

When times are hard, it propels certain survival instincts to come into play which could result to become blessings. 

One of the finest characteristics of Nigerians is how well we survive even in difficult times, we adapt(though with lots of complaints) to the messiest of scenarios. 

Dearest reader, are you having a hard time? Why not look at the bright side of it and make it to your advantage? Life goes on, and out here it doesn't get better, you must learn to take advantage of the worst situations because nobody is coming to save you.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
