DO YOU DESERVE IT?


"Crowns are for diligent and faithful athletes, are you one?"

Often when we do the unhealthy comparison thing it's dumb because we're not putting in half the effort the other person is which is to say that we don't deserve it.

Everyone has their eyes fixated on the prize, yet not everyone deserves it. In accordance with the above axiom, you must first be diligent and faithful to earn the prize, this isn't all that is required, but it's a step.

A characteristic peculiar to all athletes is how disciplined they are. They are dedicated to their cause, as they follow strict routines all for the reward/crown.

Just anybody cannot have the crown, you must deserve it via diligence and faithfulness. 

Dearest reader, are you diligent and faithful to that cause you're chasing? How are you convinced you deserve that which you desperately seek, in regards to what it demands?

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
