DAY 101.



Guess what? 

You wouldn't believe it. I have been writing consistently for 101days now!

It's crazy how I never knew i'd come this far when I started. Trust me, consistency nor be beans, but in all there's God. 

The past 101 days of my life has been tasking. From the jump start, my coach was certain I could do it, on my path I didn't feel I had what it takes to engage in such audacious challenge(Xday writing challenge). 

Then the scary part was being afraid of letting him down, that's the thing with having people who believes in you so much(I'm not saying it's a bad thing though). But somehow being scared of not being able to meet up my coache's expectations did propel me to write daily, in heavy tension and anxiety. 

And when I learnt the secret of writing daily, it became easier, I didn't have to worry/panic about what to write. In the words of my coach, "Writing is like breathing", it's nature and within me. 

It been God so far, we go dey alright las las. 
This piece is out of gratitude to God for how far I've come. There's been so much growth in the past 101days.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
