SECOND ATTEMPT.



"As we have started, we might as well just finish", X.

There's this reluctance to stop when you've already taken the first step, today I made my hair again and as expected it was painful, I don't know how I was able to sit through it but I some how did. 

By taking the first step, the strength to go on is bestowed on you. As I endured my hair pain I kept reciting, "One step in front of one", that's my sister's physiotherapy motivation, I just wanted to scream at all the people who said a second attempt won't hurt as much. 

Even with all the big girl I was trying to form by holding back the stream of hot tears from escaping my eyes, I couldn't contain it still. But regardless upon still I nor gree give up. 

This taught me that in the sheges that life comes with, if you like hold it in or cry your eyes out you must still face it.  A journey of a thousand years starts with one fully calculated step, take that step the strength to go on will come. 

It doesn't get better, just brace up. As you keep going it keep getting tougher. Be it a first attempt or second attempt, the pain will be felt in full do not be deceived.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
