DOWNSIDE OF HUMANS.



"People management is one of the hardest jobs in the world, you have no idea how many mad people are walking around with phones in their hands in this country", Bolanle. 

I couldn't agree more with the above statement. Humans can be the annoyinest(If that's a word), and as a customer service rep, I will tell you that for free. 

My job as a customer service rep isn't a difficult or tasking one but, you see humans with their inability to listen to simple instructions have made it one hell of a job, leaving me with migraines every day. 

As humans, we want to be heard even before we attempt to listen, we scream at the tiniest discomfort and throw baseless accusations at innocent people with the business of helping us. Both you and I are guilty of this. 

So today as I ended yet another annoying call, I thought to myself that if I were in the person's shoes I would've reacted the same way. Hence, I resolved to not be irritated as I swallowed the unnecessary shouts and complaints in good faith. 

You know, the funniest part of this job is having to listen rapidly to their life story (complaints that have absolutely nothing to do with you). 

Nobody wants to be told what to do even if it's for their own good, hence, with the realization that I would've acted like or even worse than my callers if I were in their position makes it easier to deal with them.
