WE QAVAH...
WE QAVAH.
“We behold until we are formed, we Qavah until we have strength”.
Qavah is the Hebrew word for waiting. Like all Hebrew words its meaning goes beyond the surface, it’s not an ordinary waiting.
To truly Qavah, one must solely depend on God. That moment when you don’t have option A or B, that state of, “God’s help or nothing else”, when you come to the conviction that only God can help you.
Waiting is hard, but the waiting Qavah portrays is even harder. You can’t Qavah by accident, it’s so intentional and sometimes it seems lazy or Passive but it isn’t.
Qavah is a waiting that’s looks to the Lord to act rather than taking matters into its own hands. David was one bible character that always Qavah before he takes any action, he Qavah upon the Lord, if God doesn’t respond he goes nowhere.
Before you can actively Qavah, you must be in Phase with the Lord else your Qavah is in Vain.
In the place of Qavah, we are strengthened, equipped and ready for war.
There’s the waiting room and there’s the war room, skipping the place of Qavah to war is simply risking your life, because war strategies are derived from the waiting room.
Before you do, Qavah. You need strength to go on.
