UPON NECESSITY.


"If your path demands that you walk through hell, walk like you own the fucking place", X. 

Today after work, I had to go over to my other boss's office for an arrangement. It was raining very heavily and I was already late so I didn't have the luxury to stand in a shade to wait for the rain to stop before continuing my journey. 

Initially, I was trying to stylishly run but when I remembered how busy my boss was and how much her time cost, I threw caution to the wind, not minding my surroundings as I ran. 

Given the fact that I'm not a sports person soon my chest was heaving and I was gasping for air but still, I ran, not minding the ever-pouring weather because I had a goal in mind. 

In the end, I met up just in time and the rain and the speculators didn't matter again. 

In this journey of life, whatever is required to get to your destination, be it convenient or not, try to accomplish it with all boldness. I'm headed home right now as I write this and there's this satisfying feeling of a well-spent day because I wouldn't have forgave myself if I had made her wait. 

Despite the cold which a hot bath can fix, my body sort of needed that exercise after all.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
