NOTHING IS EVER AS IT SEEMS.



Today was an hectic day for me, though I had it planned out but, you know things doesn't always go as planned. Some months back I learnt a soft skill, "Social media management" but I haven't been able to praticalize all that were taught. 

About two days ago I was given the a task that will serve me the opportunity to praticalize this skill, I was thrilled and excited. Being so enthusiastic I couldn't wait to start.

Well, today I went over to my boss office so we could start the planning and as she put me through what is expected of me I couldn't believe it. 

After long hours of sitting down to brain storm I was mentally exhausted. Honestly, during our training I didn't know it was going to be this stressful to implement, I just weak. 

If I was to explain to you what this job description entails, you will just laugh at how simple it sounds but really it isn't. Just same way my job description isn't as it seem, that's all everything in the universe covers under a facade. 

A writer I loved was said, "Things doesn't change you, it reveals you". And just like that everything carries more or less than it is presented as, there's more to a thing that what meets the eyes. 

In the word of Olive Lane, "Don't judge a book by it cover, not even by it first page". Things are never how they to seem to be.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
