LEARNING THE HARD WAY.

There's this thing about not learning until we experience it ourselves. When we are told to act in a certain way we at times just ignore it, but trust me experience is expensive.

I have this nasty character of pressing my phone at all times, while on the road, in the kitchen, in the market, and even when bathing. It's a habit, therefore stumbling into things kept occurring as a norm.

At a point, I did reduce this attitude by limiting the places where I operate my phone. Well, just like a dog going back to his vomit, it wasn't long before I started again. Just yesterday I went to the market to get something, and while buying the stuffs I needed I was on my phone. On getting home, I realized that forgot the meat I purchased at the trader's table even after paying for it.

I did cry because it was already late, if I went back to the market I mightn't see the trader again. For real, who goes to the market and operates his phone? If I had kept the phone in my bag, surely I wouldn't have forgot to carry the meat I paid for.

I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear the rest of what happened to me, let's leave that for your imagination to craft.

The point is, I have been told multiple times to stop this habit but it seemed to be a part of me yet will this experience change my attitude?

Learning from experience is expensive and for persons who are strong headed like myself, we tend to learn the hard way which is necessarily not the best way.
