GIVE IT TIME.


There are certain things you wouldn't like all at once, yet in time you'd find yourself greatly enjoying them. 

I resumed work again as a customer service personnel just this Monday and trust me, if I hadn't needed the money as much as I did I would have stopped after day 1. 

Aside from being really stressful, it requires a lot of brain work which I find more exhausting so I didn't really like it yet I dragged myself out of bed each morning convincing myself of how badly I needed the salary. 

Fast forward to today, the last working day of this week I'm headed home with full enthusiasm. I just realized that I do love my job and that I have the best boss in the world for putting up with the grumpy me daily. 

I didn't like the job at first yet a few days later I greatly enjoyed it. Maybe if I had stopped earlier I wouldn't have come to this point of enjoying it. 

This taught me that it is never about what you like first but what is necessary. Our decisions shouldn't primarily be based on pleasure but necessity because in time the pleasure will set in. 

If you don't like something right now, give it time. It will come around if it doesn't then on to the next.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
