EVERYBODY IS A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD.

"The side of a person you see is a function of the side of yourself you show to him", Mr Pojomatics.

I can attest to this. During my secondary school there was this widely feared teacher, she taught mathematics to SS2 students and everyone kept talking about how harsh she was. For this reason I was scared when I entered SS2, 'Vulgar'( as she was commonly called among students) was going to teach me.

Initially, I always escaped falling into her trouble but the harder I tried to keep to her rules the easier it was to fall into her trap. She doesn't have to flog you first before you start crying, if you can survive her interrogation without crying then you're really strong.

If this woman so much as call my name, my heart skips a beat, my palm produces sweat and I find it hard to make coherent sense. One time she asked me a question, I almost forgot my name. Smiles.

From my description you can tell that this woman is scary and wicked right? Well, that's not all there is. After a while of having her teach us I got over my fear for her and soon we were in good terms.

She was tough to others but to a few students she had a soft spot. I was surprised the first time she smiled at me, I didn't know such a person could smile. Why did she seem so tough at first? How come she changed?

I believe in dual personality. She's wicked when you disobey the rules and she's the kindest soul when you do what she wants. Nothing is truly black or white, it is the color of light you shine on it that it reflects back.

Life is like that. Just like my mathematics teacher, life is fair. It does back to you what is done to it, if you are fair in your relation and interaction with her, than she'd be fair to you.

Before you complain about a situation ask yourself where you fault in it lines firstly before anything else. If you can fix yourself in a problem then fixing the rest is easy-pisy.

Dearest dear, are you fair?
