BEAUTY IS PAIN.

Anything worthwhile or appealing to the eyes is brought about by one painful procedure. Even gold must stand the test of fire, so is every beautiful thing held in high esteem.

I have this natural skill of making cornrows. I never actually developed it but I can make good cornrows for my sisters every now then. This evening, given that my sister was traveling the next day she asked that help her make cornrows.

In the process of weaving hair natural hair into cornrows, she is seen whining in pains. It was obvious that it was painful yet she sat through it, swallowing the pain as she sat there.

The moment I was done, I guess the pain reduced since she picked her phone to look at the hair. A little satisfied with the cornrows she smiled revealing her gorgeous dimples.

During the process she wasn't smiling or was she? Yet afterwards she could smile. Everything comes with a price tag. Somethings will require you to walk through fire and once you make it out of the fire, you become refined.

If you aren't ready for a painful journey, don't long for it product. Recently I found myself wanting to start making my hair due to series of insults here and there but with an understanding that I'm not ready just yet to go through what it takes, I embrace the simplicity in my lowcut hairstyle.

Nothing worthwhile is effortless. Nothing gorgeous and outstanding comes from mere wishing, there's a process in which beauty and sophistication is birthed from.

Beauty without pain is liken to a food without spice, it is simply tasteless. True beauty comes from pain.
