BE THE ONE OUT OF TEN.



They were ten men with leprosy that Jesus healed in the Bible but only one out of that lot, went back to thank him. 

Gratitude can move mountains for you, but you will never know. Just a little show of appreciation can win you a spot in someone's heart but often times we feel entitled to the help others offer us. 

The reason the nine others didn't go back could be that they felt it was their right since they were Jews, whereas the one who went back to thank Jesus was a Samaritan. 

Dearest reader, how often do you return to God or others for helping you? 

Drop the entitlement attitude and stand to gain more.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
