HUMBLE ENOUGH.

I sat down for over an hour with a genius yesterday and as the guy spoke, I immediately saw the difference between both of us. We attended the same secondary school and after-school lessons yet he stands out. What excuse have I?

"I'm never ashamed to learn, at best I'd seek to know"~ Snr Vwede. This is purely humility and it's rare to come by, intelligent folks are usually proud. 

The inability to know is pride. To be ignorant and remain trapped in oblivion is pride, being ignorant isn't our fault but to explore the borders of ignorance and decidedly transcend it is our responsibility. 

Logically nobody had double brains. What makes the difference is the zeal, how zealous are you in chasing that dream? Are you chasing from comfort or you are going all out? Abi you dey use style chase? 

"Proverbs 19:20 If you listen to advice and are willing to learn, one day you will be wise". To be willing to learn is mandatory, it's not magic. The level of your hunger to learn is what makes you stand out, because, everyone is going at a pace that is comfortable with them and when you do whatever one else does, you will get what everyone else gets. 

Senior Vwede and I aren't so different but, while he did everything within his power to be more without giving a fly fuck how that made him look, I on the other hand thrive from my comfort zone. 

The point is, there's no excuse to be oblivious, if you don't know and you feel ashamed to seek help or ask questions that's pride. Be humble enough to learn however.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
