HEART-KNOWLEDGE OVER HEAD-KNOWLEDGE.

HEART-KNOWLEDGE OVER HEAD-KNOWLEDGE.

I crashed for lack of implementation, I have learned nothing because all I learned was stored up in my brain and none in my heart.

Imagine trying to fight the devil using Bible verses which are merely in your head and not in your heart? For real, there's a difference between, "GET BEHIND ME SATAN" and "GET BEHIND ME SATAN". It depends on who is saying it. From your heart and understanding the devil will run but as mere words or recitation, the devil will advance even more.

Most often, you can't always see the root of your problems until someone points it out, and trust me, it is difficult to accept it. How do you come to agree with the fact that you're proud, rude and an ingrate? No way! Right?

In dire situations, it isn't about what you want, because what you want varies with time. What you wanted a year ago is hardly what you want now and growth is exercised in pushing all your focus on the requirements for such want, there's a pathway to attaining each want. When the focus is placed on the "want" instead of the "path"(required effort) we tend to collapse.

We know too much yet exercise so little. Everyone of us knows the truth. You know clearly what is right yet this doesn't stop you from doing the opposite, why is that? Lack of implementing knowledge is as a result of head knowledge, you know by head and not by heart.

Wisdom is the application of knowledge. You ain't wise if you have all the knowledge in the world, you are wise when you apply/implement/exercise the little knowledge you have.
