THE SKILLFUL BUSINESSMAN



God doesn't just do things
Even miracles do follow paths. 


In Luke 13:6-9 Jesus told a story. Luke 13:9 
"If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’" Using this story Jesus illustrated that God is not happy with lack fruitfulness and productivity. God invests in us and when this investment doesn't produce result he cuts off. 


I would like to say God is skillful businessman, and his intellect far better than any other businessman. And like all good businessmen, he knows how to differentiate between an asset and a liability. 


According to Robert Kiyosaki, the difference between an asset and a liability is that an asset puts money in your pocket while a liability takes money from it. In God's case he sure doesn't need money but whenever you keep taping from him and you aren't producing deserved result you become a liability. A good businessman gets does away with liabilities. 


The question is, are you an asset or a liability? How well are you accomplishing God's purpose? 


If you've noticed across the Bible, Gpd doesn't just use anybody to do this bidding. His investment in people like Moses, Paul and some others yielded good result. They were no ordinary assets and carried out the mastermind's intended purpose. 



Today I urge you to intentionally search out that unique feature God deposited in you and start improving in it, for the unproductive will be cut off.

TEAM WORK

It can be quite frustrating when a collective effort results in only one person receiving all the praise. Even if my contribution is just 1%, it shouldn’t be overlooked. You never know how these small efforts can make a significant difference. My bubugaga is back from school, and today we did a lot of tidying up. It’s amazing how I suddenly find the energy to work when she's around, despite my usual laziness. After completing so much work, we took a break—we were honestly worn out. Fast forward to the end of the day: everyone applauded her for a job well done, as though it was solely her effort. It felt off because I felt I deserved some recognition too—it was teamwork, after all. So, the point is, you never know how hurtful it can be when someone's effort goes unacknowledged.
