CONSEQUENCES BE DAMN!! REALLY?
"The past must die to truly secure the future". New things are birthed out of old ones, and when the old refuses to die, the new may never rise.
As Christians we die to sin so as to be alive in Christ, yet, it is oblivion to pretend that consequences can be ignored and escaped.
In the words of Augustus Water "Pain demands to be felt" if it doesn't hurt then it not pain. The consequences of our actions are inescapable so do well to lead a blameless life irrespective of the situation you are in, for situations will not last forever, and it all starts to fade until nothing is left of the initial mess whereas consequences could last a lifetime.
Is it fair to inherit generational curses? Is it fair to be affected by mistakes made by does before us? Of course you'd say "No, it not fair" But as you stand that we ought not to suffer the consequences of words we did not say, dragons we did not slay it then means we do not deserve to enjoy any good thing passed down to us by those before us.
Imagine the following cases scenarios
Case scenario 1: You are the only child of a really wealthy man and he dies, is it right that you get all this wealth as his child?
Case scenario 2: You are an only child and then your parents dies leaving unpaid debts, is it right that you pay the debts? Try not to be biased.
Life is fair, enigmatic and tough. It favors no one without cause. In a fair system, work input equals work output. Sir Isaac Newton explains this in his third law of motion; "Actions and reaction(consequences) are always equal and opposite" ALWAYS. It is not compromised, right now the consequences of that action might not be seen yet in time, it will unravel itself.
Shade old skin and grow into the new while living consciously.
